This week we continued with the theme of Easter, we learned new vocabulary for Easter that is around the corner. We focused on words directly associated with Easter, such as Easter bunny, Easter eggs, chicks, flowers and chocolate bunny to name a few. Learning the words through game playing was really fun for the kids. We also learned some colours, seeing that Easter can be very colourful. Drawing and colouring of pictures about Easter was great fun. Learning some numbers was also a part of this week. The kids seem to really enjoy it seeing that we were learning new numbers while having fun. We also learned some songs, including a Easter bunny song that the kids love to sing. With Easter approaching I am confident the kids will have a good collection of words, colours numbers and some phrases for the holiday.
