This week in the Funny Experiments class we investigated whether certain objects contain water or not. We tested apples, flowers, grass, potatoes, leaves, carrots, bread, sticks, and pine cones. First the children took the object and placed it on a paper towel. Then they folded the towel over and hit it with a hammer. If the paper towel became wet then the children knew the object contained water. The children had fun guessing whether or not each object contained water.
