The topic was Easter. The children went over the aspects of Spring but there was a much stronger emphasis on identifying and pronouncing Easter Eggs, Basket, Ribbons, and Burrow (where the Easter Bunny lives). This shorter vocabulary was dealt with under more intense methods that were more absorbing. At the end of the day the children played with wooden puzzles.
