The topic was jobs. In English, the children learned how to identify and how to pronounce: postman, firefighter, waiter, teacher, policeman, cook, gardener, writer, ballerina. This consisted of getting to a stage where they would be able to quote which job was not mentioned in a list … testing their memory of what and how to say a jobs name. Afternoon the children played with building block and wooden puzzles.
