It was a cold and grey day outside . . . but that didn’t stop the children from making kites! They didn’t have outdoor air, they had big rooms and bounds of energy to play with their creations. Some of them had monster-faces, some of them had patterns, they were all unique. For English they practiced colour-ball catching, tiptoeing, stomping, wide steps, narrow steps, and knowing their shoulder from their elbow and their knee. And alongside that, they examined classical fairy tales pronounced in English. Cinderella, Rapunzel, Pinocchio, Tom Thumb, Jack & the Beanstalk. After practicing some singing, and a little more English, they all relaxed with an assortment of indoor games. A farm set, a car set, a snake puzzle, Pexeso, and good old-fashioned building blocks.
