This week in the Funny Experiments class we made balloon rockets. First we threaded yarn through a straw and then attached both ends of the yarn to chairs so the yarn was tight. Then we attached a blown up balloon to the straw. The children let go of the balloon and watched it fly from one chair to the other. The children were excited to see how fast the balloon traveled. We then tested out the experiment using different heights and guessed whether or not it would still work.
